I have a climate control box (without PC board) that has the Japanese market celcius readout display. All buttons and controls are identical to the US market one, but this has celcius display. This would be the finishing touch for someone wanting to convert their car to the Japanese spec interior! Asking $40/OBO.

I don't know for a fact but I am not sure that the display would necessarily read in Celsius with a US spec control board - a display is typically nothing more than that & the LCD will only display according to the voltage input it is given. It really depends on whether the signal processing for whatever number is going to be displayed is done on the main board or the daughter board for the display.
Perhaps you can confirm if you know, stevenlee .... Did you install the JDM control board in a US spec shell? If so & it displays in Faranheit, then that would confirm that the processing is done on the daughter board and reciprocally, using a US control board in this JDM module would indeed display Celsius.

Put me in line, I will take it.
The main CC board is the same and they interchange...only the displays are different. You can swap CC boards all you like, they work with either display.
There is a small J (c) or A (F) in the upper left hand corner of the front of the display housing.

Also, the difference is not just in the electronics, the temperature knob has different detent spacing to correspond to the Celcius scale!
Put me on the list... If the knobs don't work right, I'll probably pass.
