as the title says. removed my clear bra on my car, it was a bitch to say the least. Just thought I would give people a heads up, if you ever do this yourself, make sure to either wear gloves, or hold on to the clear bra with a towl rather than your bare hands. Use a hair dryer to soften the glue, pull to the side rather than pulling up. Clear bra on metal is tougher to remove than on the plastic parts of the car. glue can be removed by using 3m adhesive cleaner....it has specific instructions on the can for use on a car.

just a helpful hint to my NSX brothers...

Jack

p.s. getting new clear bra installed next week, wanted the full one, so the half hood/fender bra had to come off. Just getting the entire thing done while im at it. Bain has given me helpful hints so far, he should be coming to my house for the install next week. I will post results and pictures.

What company (product) is going on for your new one?

I was looking at XPel www.xpel.com which is supposed to be the best out there right now. They only offer a half fender/hood.

6 years with the 3M clear bra, and still looks as good as the day it was put on. No coloring or peeling what so ever!! I am very happy  with this product.

My 3M Clear Bra has saved my car on countless occasions. I have over 137,900 miles on my 1994 NSX, and she looks almost brand new. :)
