Clear LED tails

I hate it when I see some cool lighting. Why? I would get pulled over by the police around here. I got pulled over because I had STOCK backtailight covers on my mustang GT. They gave me hell for that and my clear corner markers. I dont see any problems with different lighting. As long as the turn signals light up yellow and brake lights light up red. Does anybody else have real bad problems with this? Is it just my area cops being buttheads and have nothing better to do? I wanted clear markers for my NSX but was to afaird about getting pulled over for them. I think they would look so much cooler and cleaner.

Smoked or tinted out they wouldnt look bad... otherwise they look like doo doo.

3-4years without any issues (knock on wood). I have been pulled over a ton of times but never for the tinted taillights:eek: They can tint them any color you want any shade from clear to black. Light output degrades as you go darker. Mine are a lil darker then JDM, but are still very visible in the daylight. Black car is a professional job much smoother like paint on the car. Silver car is night shades rattle can DIY job by the previous owner has a mat finish to it.
