Christmas to me...

It isnt all about the gifts this year for some reason. I dont know if its my age or what but I didnt want anything this year. I rather just kick back, drive to my aunts tomorrow, hang out and watch some movies with my cousins, and drive back home. I dont think presents mean much to me as they did a few years back. Now more as ever I am enjoying these holidays, becuase I have old grandparents in wheelchairs who are in decent health but could be in better, and I want to enjoy every minute I can with them. If there is anything I am leaning on my own right now with this, with older age comes wisdom, reality, and maturety.

Merry Chirstmas Everyone

Thanks for sharing.

Myself, my immediate family and I aren't really used to the gift-giving thing. We never were. Not even growing up. Not to say that my parents were stingy or anything. Let's just say that we weren't as affluent as some of my peers were.

Even now, at the age of 32, when someone asks me "What did you get for Christmas?" I cordially reply with a smile and a shrug.

In hindsight, I'm kind of glad that I grew up that way. The good thing that came of it, is that we never bought into the consumerism that entailed the Christmas season. Gotta love marketing.

Nope, Christmas to me is about two things:
Family and the birth of a king. Plain and simple.

Kinda like the first Christmas itself.
Merry Christmas everyone...

Last night my Kids opened up gifts from their grandparents, my son (Age 5) opened up a gift and then was jumping up and down then ran over to grandma and hugged her till she was blue in the face!....I asked him what the present was? and he said......."I don't know" I just hope we all can be so thankful for what we have been provided.....and happy that we are so fortunate.....Merry Christmas.....JZ

I got my gifts this morning and it was nice. Sure half of it was clothing, I got a bottle of Colonge from Hummer (REALLY NICE) and $300 check becuase my parents dont know what to get me (future PSP). However, I still can not wait untill I drive over to Garfield and see my whole family and have a fun Christmas, and very fun Polish Christmas at that.

P.S. Jalnjr, I was actully thinking about driving your NSX when I was racing mine in Forza (exactly the one in my sig, but a Type-R). And yes, I can handle it...I was born to handle it.

Merry Merry everyone
