NICE. I was wondering if there were any manual 97+ white coupes.....that car would be on the top of my list if I was buying! I wish Honda would have offered white leather...... I'll probably end up getting a 92 white/black and try trading interiors with someone who owns an ivory.

That thing is mint and a half...I saved the VIN for future reference...I hope to one day own that car!

Not sure, but DeHaldaswerth's 2001 Red NSX coupe had a black top too.

That is a gorgous car!! Harrier blamed it on the light for his less than perfect interior pics. Obviously the light is much better in the part of the country that this car is from.

Interesting; there is no brace in the engine compartment. There is a triangle one in my 01 targa. I wonder if the reason is that the coup is rigid enough not to need one?

Just one more reason to believe that the blue one is a composite.

That car looks just like my 92 except I have the black interior. So lovely I think I will go for a drive now. No wait I cant I am having the inner cv joint replaced and will be nsxless for 2 more days. God I miss it so much and its only been gone since friday. I might get it back on monday, I hope. If had the money I would buy the 2001 in a heart beat..

I have seen this '01 white coupe in person numerous times. The overall condition is indeed excellent. The only thing that bothers me is the interior color. The camel interior just doesn't match well with a white car. In my opinion the color combination looks horrendous. If the interior was black I would have bought it myself long time ago.

yes, that is correct, the Targas have the triangle, and the coupes have the single bar.

Its such an elegant color.. I love camel interiorz.

Interesting note, according to LUD's post from the other topic, the 97 Coupes did indeed have the triagular brace.

FACT: Yes, the 1997 coupes had the triangular strut bar. The bar was discontinued on 1998+ coupes.

All 1991 - 1994 cars have a straight bar (all are coupes).

All NSX-Ts have a triangular bar.

All 1998+ coupes have NO bar (nor even the mounting points for a bar).

Since we are on the topic of late model coupes, my cursory research indicates that only three '01 coupes where imported to the States: the red/black/black that I bought from Hopkins Acura in Redwood City, the White/Black/Tan that is the subject of this post, and the silver/black/black that was a stock test car in Car and Driver 0-100-0 test. Anyone have any information to refute this? I'm usually wrong

I believe that his car has a roof color matched to the body.

My '00 coupe came from the factory with a body colored roof - ordered that way from by the dealer. I noticed the lack of the rear strut bar when I was at NSX Fiesta in '98 and according to the NSX gods there, they determined that it was not needed. The 97's still have them.

The silver/black/black was actually a '98 coupe. There is also a yellow/black/black '98 coupe on the east coast somewhere.
