*yawn*

I care not about that Lotus.

I wish you posted pics of a new 240S Exige instead of that pile.

Is your distaste with the style or performance??

Dave got banned from the Lotus chat forum after telling them that Lotus drivers are pussies and love getting into rear end collisions with MG drivers. So he's a little bitter about the whole thing.

What's wrong with this car. I think its beautiful and rare too. I know it's not reliable but it's beautiful.

the only reason the guys down east are checking out our posts is to see if they can see me in my Speedo! With boots.

Its just not a good car. Its a BAD car in fact. Terribly made. Poorly designed.

This is a better!
Thankfully we all have different tastes and get an opportunity to express our opinions. I'm the opposite. I really dislike the Elise. It's just plain ol fugly. I find it quite interesting that an NSX owner who owns a well refined, well crafted, well designed, sleak car finds the buggy squat appearance of the Elise attractive.

Anyway, I don't like the first Espirt, but the final run they got right IMO. Kind of like Pontiac with their Fiero project. Every year except for the last pretty much bit. :)

Because it's yellow?

Or because it has a Japanese Engine?

I actually agree, I like the Elise a lot. It's what a Lotus should be. The new Esprit will be pretty freaking cool too.

When I found out that the Esprit has wood used to hold it together, that killed it for me. WOOD!

Im not necessarily a fan of the appearance of the Exige/Elise either. But they're great cars that are as good as doing what they do because theyre well designed.

Looking forward to the new Esprit too.

Supa' Seven!

Great cars on the track too! (Noisy little buggers tho)

Mmmmmm super 7....Sexy!!! *drool*....must sell...more....crack to afford...

So many wants, not enough benjamins. :frown:

I had a chance to drive a Caterham 7 in Tokyo a few years ago. Man, if you think the nsx is low, in this thing you feel like you're sitting in traffic on a skateboard.

One project I'd love to do one day is build a Integra Type R powered 7. Saw a half completed project for sale in Kingston 2 years ago at an estate sale...still regret not bidding on it.
