Went to start my '99 NSX this morning. Started fine and runs great....but both the check engine and TCS lights are on and staying on. Anyone experience this???

I am sure they have.

First order of business is to use the service check connector to access the TCS codes. If you have an OBD II scanner you can use that to pull stored codes in the ECU. You should also be able to use the SCC to access the ECU codes; but, I have never tried. Once you have the error codes, it should be much easier to provide some advice as to what is going on.

Did you wash the car recently?

No....actually I never wash the car. Only comes out on dry sunny days......and gets a "sponge bath"....microfiber towel with clear water....when necessary.

Thanks

obd2 reader is easy to use and quite helpful...just plug into port under dash.

Correct; but the OBD II reader will not retrieve the codes that are stored in the TCS or the SRS, EPS and ABS for that matter. Those systems never got a data port. Everybody should get to experience the fun of counting the light flashes.

haha those don't matter:biggrin:
