Hello, are there any areas of the chassi that need lubricants? and if so what products is every one using. thanks ahead of time!

and what is the most reccomended products for Trans for lower temp areas?

Cheers!

Chassis lube is an interesting concept to me. Most of the suspension joints are ball joints packed with grease. Ideally, they should not need any more grease because that would mean they are leaking. In fact, re-greasing any joint usually requires dissembly of the joint. I'm not sure what else on the NSX you could lube, though I think there is a diagram in the service manual showing lube points. Anyone know?

As for trans, use the OEM Honda white cap. I drove my NSX in the winter in NY and that stuff worked great.

There is absolutely a page in the service manual that describes lube points. I don't have ready access to the manual at the moment but there are a number of lube areas (agree with previous post that there is are really no suspension lube points) that I suspect are rarely attended to. Check the manual -- its in there.

Best,
Jeff

I have heard of someone here using a needle tip on a grease gun that punctures the rubber and can grease these type joints. I have seen them, but never used them. I was thinking of doing this if I can get some feedback ?
