changing the oil

what would be the best way for me to change the oil myself... i mean that i have never done this on any car... now owning an NSX i don't want to trust anyone else with my car!

i saw the instructions on the faq however is there any other detailed guide that shows pictures and such?

Seven Easy Steps

1 - remove old oil filter

2 - install new oil filter

3 - remove oil pan plug to drain nasty oil

4 - go inside to watch F1 while oil drains

5 - install oil pan plug with NEW crush washer

6 - pour in 5.3 qts of oil.....but do not waste your $ on synthetic

7 - drive and enjoy

i read somewhere that you can drive the car onto ramps instead of jacking it up for an oil change... what kind of ramps are they talking about?

From reading some of your posts it sounds like you need a little assistance in the DIY department. If you want, you can come to my place next weekend and I'll help you remove the climate control. I also have the necessary instruments for an oil change. It won't take more than an hour to complete the two jobs.
