My wifes boss has an 91 NSX. And he had a double din radio installed. The people that did craked his console. He got an SOS console that i need to cut. how hard would it be. to cut...thinking a dremal? Also what is the proper way to get the console out with out hurting the rest of his fancey leather gut. Any tips plases?

This is a better, pictorial guide to removing the console.

To cut the new console, I first made a template of MDF using the radio fascia trim ring as a model for the dimension - essentially just cut a rectangle to the dimensions of the opening with the router, leaving the corners round.
Then fixed the MDF template onto the face of the console with double-sided carpet tape & used a pattern bit & followed the template - perfect slot!

A dremel will be really hard to get a nice straight edege I'm thinking.
