Many threads have shown many console reworked to accomodate aftermarket single and double din head units with beautiful results. Many of these then matched the actual OEM bronze or silver finishes. Others matched exterior paint any looked really nice.

D'Ecosse did a great job helping me with with the console fill and custom cut out for my Alpine 9857 head unit. But you have seen his beautiful work many times on this forum, I don't need to tell you how good he is at everything he does.

What I wanted to highlight in this thread, is the beautiful paint job that Tony from NB Custom shop in Grand Prarie, Texas (682-560-6441) did on my console, air vent, ash tray cover and both arm rests. I did NOT want anything glossy but rather a black finish that was different but looked OEM. I asked him to try to duplicate the finish on the clock. What he created was just that. He called it a soft feel paint. It has a slight texture, and as you can see from the photos, it matches the clock finish really well.

Tony came recommended to me by another Prime member, Devin, as it was Tony who was able to mount his Eclipse double din unit and yet keep the ash tray door fully functional.

Tony was easy to work with, was resonable, and completed everything exactly when he said it would be done. I highly recommend him and his work.
