Center Console Bubbles

There are some air bubbles on the center console. I believe that the heat caused the sticker (or paint??) to bubble and peel.

I don't know whether this can be fixed/repainted/re-stickered. If so, could you provide the parts number for the paint or the sticker? I know that I can probably re-paint the plastic part, but I really want the stock look.

I have searched the previous forums for this topic, and could not find any..

Thanks for your help in advance.

This has been posted on several times before. Several people have removed it and had it sanded and repainted to match. Another option is to cover it with a dash "kit" which consists of a 3M backing tape. This is what I did and I really love it. I got a 3 piece set (both doors and one center peice) and it fills the gap between the top piece where the vents are and the lower piece (this gap is on all of the NSXs I have seen).

Another option is to buy a replacement from Dali / SoS.

The final option is to spend like $700 for the Acura one.

Good luck

The Forums Nazi could probably help because I have seen a couple of entries. They caught my eye because mine has bubbles too .. also on the door armrests where the window switches are. I haven't seen anyone talk about replacement stick-on film although there was someone who did a really nice job of having them painted.

There are also some who have bought those stick-on films that resemble carbon fibre or wood or metallic look but no-one seems to have a good answer to the area underneath the parking brake handle which drops down.
