Cell Phone Upgradeable?

Does anyone know if the Factory cell phone that came as an option is upgradeable to todays technology (and still have all of the features work?)

No, it is not upgradeable, nor can you easily replace it with a modern digital phone and have that new phone nicely integrate into the existing hands-free equipment.

I thought to have this done also, but ran into a stone wall. I have to admit though, the original phone (analog + CDMA) WORKS EVERYWHERE! Even in places that my newer (digital + GSM) does not.

I don't think the original NSX phone had CDMA technology in it... I believe CDMA came out in 1995...

I'm so bad... I use to work at QUALCOMM... and I can't remember when it came out...

You are most likely correct. I just quote what the young woman (pretty thing that she was ) said to me at the AT&T store. but the phone does work!
