So I just did my first track event at Pocono this weekend. Coolest thing I have ever done. Car did great all day, but during my last session, the CEL and TCS lights both came on at the same time. Thought they might go out after some time, but 2 days later and they are still on. :frown: Going to bring in the car to get it checked out. I guess it was too much for the car. Any thoughts on what I might be looking at for repairs.

Thanks guys

I would put money on O2 sensors either front or rear bank. Let us know when you get the CEL codes. This would be about a $200 dollar part I believe. If you have a '95 or '96, do a search on the extended emissions warranty.

If you don't want to putz around pulling the code yourself then let us know what the dealler or shop tells you it is.If the car runs well and the cell is not blinking it probably is an o2 issue.BTW what club and configuration were you running?

I had the O2 sensor replaced about 6 months ago when the CEL went on. Hmm??

I was running in the PDA event a Pocono. We were able to run all three interior tracks that day. Loved it.

I have an appointment on Thursday. I'll let you know what they find.

Car seems to be running fine. Lights are always on??

Thanks

Thats good because if the cell is blinking(on its own) that means something important has gone wrong. You can read the cell by shorting the diagnostic wire conecters behind the carpet under the glove box,but just as well let the techs check it out.
