This will work with your factory NSX Bose headunit or an Alpine M-Bus equipped head unit. I never had a problem with this skipping during the short time I had it installed. It's a bit slimmer and lighter than the factory Acura unit. It comes with everything you see in the picture including the magazine, Honda to Alpine adapter plug, brackets, and an old CD. CD is yours for free
