CCU Dead/Tail Light Fuse Blown

My CCU unit is completely dead but here is the what was happening.

Anytime I turned the unit on, it would blow the 30A fuse for my breaklight. I just replaced the 30A and stopped using the A/C. Then suddenly the CCU stopped working completely.

Any ideas on what I can check?

What fuse did you blow? The fuse for the brake lights is #45 and is a 20A.

Yes, the break lights fuse. 20A. Sorry. Thought it was a 30A.

Fuse 45 does not power the CCU so there should be no reason for it to blow when the CCU is turned on. Are you sure Fuse #45 in the engine bay fuse box is the one you blew.
