I just installed my catz hid kit last night and i was wondering if I need the lightbulb covers? Or will it be fine without it? because i don't want to drill a hole into them.

If you ever plan to get your car wet, including washing it, then YES. you need the weather covers. Drill away. New ones are cheap.
