I was looking at a house with a casita in the backyard recently.

The casita is about ~300sq ft, with its own bathroom / mini closet, and entirely detached from the house.

What are the pros and cons of a casita?

I could see that it required its own AC unit, so that might be more costly.

What else?

Anyone have a casita or two and love it? hate it?

Nsxmas,

I dont have anything to contribute but I noticed you post alot about house stuff and Long John Silvers.

I know we all cant have a home like Gerry's, but lets turn this into a post pics of your house thread. I'll start.

Why not have people rent it out, maybe people who need to get on their feet or someting. Where is the house, if it's near a bunch of immigrants then you can get some rent money from them.

ROFLMAO :D :D

I wish I had a house that nice.

I can't afford Long John Silvers though - a bit too pricey for my blood. :D

Actually, the previous owner of my NSX has a $10 mil house, from what I hear. Lucky bastid!!

Great looking digs. The wife and I just got a new one. I'll post pictures once I get the wheels off.

My future house - post lottery win.
Once I win the lottery. :D

Dude, I pass Lake Milton on my way home from college every weekend. it's 25 miles from my house in Kent.

Buy it and you can give me rides in your car!

hard to imagine someone spending 4.5million to live in this area. i'd pay 4.5mil to leave, if i had it, lol.

I bet that house in southern cali would bring in easily 10million
