It's been cancelled, there is a 'zoom zoom' drive scheduled instead, on the mazda commerical 'zoom zoom'-shaped road (apparently it is an actual road) - the drive requires a $10 donation to the fire department, but includes free coffee, and you can say you were on the aforementioned road.

This is a summary of the notice handed out at Cars and Coffee.

Special Location and Event On Sep 22; Cars and Coffe will resume at the normal location Sep 29 (thank you guys!!)
Mazda will be hosting an event at the normal Cars and Coffee site on Sep 22.

Proceeds to the Volunteer Fire Department
Great road to get there. 7am to 9:am

from Irvine take I-5 south
Exit Ortega Hwy CA 74 Exit 82
Left at Exit
Go 8 miles and 1000 ft past Caspers State Park
Right into Red Gate, then 6.5 miles , 2,400 elevation change, private road to a private community that has agreed to Host Cars and Coffe Sep.22.

WTF??! This is a real road??!! I always thought it was just CGI or something. Have to see what Im doing this weekend...$10 bucks for coffee and just to say I was on that road, might be a good deal. :smile:

The $10 is not for the road. It is a car show and fund raiser. Just like the meet at Ford, just an organized car show, judging and all! Looks like the weather will be good in this area, looking at this AM!

It will be COLD!! in the morning. It was 49 here this AM!!
