I just purchased a used car here in Southern California. I'm going to store it at my friend's apartment (in his carport) indefinitely. It's not an exotic like an NSX (its a '92 Mitsubishi Galant), but its still in really good condition. These galants are prone to rusting, and I'm just wondering whether storing it in a carport underneath a car cover would be adequate enough in preventing rust? Or should I not even worry since the car is in So Cal?
