Just a quick question-On a stock vehicle does the carpet color in the cabin match that of the trunk? I converted from black to tan and I had the charcoal carpet in both the cabin & trunk. Someone else is telling me that in their tan car they have tan cabin carpet with the trunk being the charcoal color??? I am selling my charcoal carpet as I have installed tan carpet interior but still need the tan trunk carpet if that is stock??

My red/tan interior was also orginally charcoal in the trunk... found some tan at Pepboys that matched perfectly.... so I switched it to tan. :smile:
Yes, I have confirmed via Chuck Towle at Niello Acura that the nsx's always come with grey trunk carpet and nsxtasy advised that Hrant makes floor mats to match the color of the cabin interior. He advised that Dali Racing may also sell Hrant's mats. Thanks for the help...
I recieved some carpet samples from Hrant two months agao and unfortunately none of them even came remotely close to the factory tan.
In my previous pic above, is the tan I found at Pep Boys that matches the OEM tan carpet almost perfectly. Also I recieved some samples from HH Bailey for flour mats and one of them was almost a match (90%).

Jim is correct. We have noted before that our tan does not match the OEM tan and that is why we don't offer it. We have several tan color tones but as I premised Jim, they are not a satisfactory match so I am not surprised that Jim did not find them acceptable either.
But if you find a tan color carpeting that you are comfortable with, we can custom make the floor mats and trunk mats for you. We have done several such customized floor mats based on the show car needs of customers. HTH.
