Carfax - Where do they get their info??

I'm trying to figure out if my car in the shop is going to show up on a carfax report?

Someone pulled out in front of me so it was the other guy's fault for hitting me .....and once the car is fixed im going to sell it.... My insurance has not been notified since its his insurance....

any idea if this will show up on a carfax report?

I sure hope that it shows up. The whole point of carfax is to show the history of the car not the driver. It has nothing to do with who's fault it is like ins. It has to do with the car not the driver.
