Thanks again! Why would the mileage on a Carfax from 12/2000 reference actual mileage from 7/1996? Isn't that strange?
Also, if an auction (with no records) car checks out through a PPI at a dealer, would you feel comfortable buying it? Would wholesale be a safe bet?
