carbon fiber rear fenders?

Hi all,bad day in guam.some kind soul pushed in my passenger side fender destroying the aft wheel arch and then just drove off.so i need to replace said fender and was wondering if anyone has come across carbon fiber rear fenders.If so any info would be great.Im looking for standard type fenders not wide body ones.thanks steve

Unless you lay the part up properly and bag it, use tooling resin, have a proper mould ect ect ect there will be no real advantage to carbon fiber over a fiberglass part other than it is slightly stiffer, the weight will be the same. Now if you want to leave it exposed that is a different story, still no weight savings, but it sure looks nice!!
 
Thanks for the reply.I was actually thinking the CF would be more resiliant than the Oem alum. panel.still exploring options as i would like to stay stock look wise.thanks again...steve
