Jay,

I was just wondering if you are interested in having the light covers in CF b/c you want or have a CF hood & it just wouldn't look right if the entire front section wasn't squared off in CF? That's what I'm thinking. In my opinion, I think a CF hood looks best if the headlights are fixed w/ CF or blacked out lamp buckets, otherwise I would get a FRP hood & paint it to match. A solution to light covers is to have a genuine CF stick on sheet custom cut to a template of the headlight cover. This can be made by any of the custom dash companies. I have had some custom CF work done by a co. in FL. I'll look for my receipt if you're interested.

That's exactly the reason why i'm looking for these. It would be great if you can find the receipt.

The Japanese company Uchida made this whole NSX out of Carbon Fiber, but I cannot find a reseller for them anywhere.

Jay,

If you are still interested we have a set of CF headlamp covers available. They are made with a "Spoon Type Fiber" from Japan. If you wish we can send you a few pics. In addition, we also have the matching cf hood.

Option 2, I got this # from my old cell phone sim card & I believe it is the company that did a custom designed center console CF overlay for me. They did a great job as my dash has been modded to fit a single DIN unit. They charged me about $120 for the entire piece which included design time, materials, fabrication, shipping. While I was talking to the ownwer, I had mention possin=bly wanting to have them make me CF overlays for the B-Pillars & they said it would be possible, so I'm sure the headlight covers would be no problem. Obviously, I would prefer a true CF cover such as the Spoon for the lightweight, however, this route may be a second cost effective solution. The overlay is 100% CF w/ clear coat over it, smooth, beveled edges. These guys did the dash kits for the Fast & Furious Supra.

I am aware of the Burn Up front bumper that is on that car since I have one on mine also. The only other piece that is Burn Up are the side skirts, but the rest of the car is made entirely out of CF. I would love to trade all of my body panels to do this conversion. Even the insides of the door skins are CF on the Uchida car.

SNDSOUL Wow your nsx looks great. I like the look except for the paint but still it is a great looking car.

How much would it be to make a carbon fiber door just like the Uchida ones? Also is carbon fiber as safe as the aluminum door on the NSX?
When I am able to buy a nsx and mod it I would love to make a complete carbon fiber body nsx. I was thinking of hopefully making the b pillars and the trunk and all the body panels into carbon fiber and making the car slightly wider. That is what my modifications are hopefully going to be, I want to try to lighten the nsx's body down to 2400lbs. But still keep the interior. I don't know how I will do it but I will try. Also I don't realy know how much a role cage cost but that is another thing I will like to add to the car.

Hey do you think this is a good idea make a roll cage that is hidden under the inside panels of the car. I plan to do that so that the police won't bother me about this racy type look with the roll cage. If it is hidden they won't know that I have one so it will look like you are just a stock nsx with no mods. I guess the police see racing stuff in your car and will wan't to find an excuse to get you a ticket. That is why their will be very little horsepower gains. The only mods that will increase my horsepower will probably be a chip and maybe a muffler.

What do you think of my modification ideas. Remember its just my opinions and ideas I realy can't do this since I don't realy have a nsx.
