Wow! I think that's a big improvement. Nice work.

S-W-E-E-T!

That looks great. So great that I just placed my order, and even went so far as to locate a metalic Sharpie marker in the Staples catalog. I just ordered carbon pillar pods, and if I get gauges with aluminum bezels this will look good together. Thanks for posting.

I also have the type R shift boot with the CF insert, I am waiting for my gauges to install the CF pillar pods, everything should tie in real nice once complete.

Good luck with the painting, take your time and have some q tips and some hobby paint brush cleaner handy.

Armando that looks AWESOME!!!!

That paint worked great...no need for real aluminum rings!

Great Job

No charge for yours but send me the royalty checks, or maybe just SOS credit for all those that you sell.

Also,

I think SoS should change the picture on the website to accurately represent the product. Or at least sell the aluminum rings on there...

I know I would not be happy if I got something that did not look like the product in the picture.

It wasnt that big of a deal, taking the dash out took about 30 minutes, The bezels are part of the dash insert I dont think you can get alluminum rings, unless you get them smaller to fit inside the existing rings.

I have added a note on the website that the rings are painted, thanks for the advice. The plastic rings need to be transfered from the old insert piece to the new one, I will make sure a note is included in the boxes.

Cheers,

Chris

Just curious but my dash came with the rings attatched, and when I removed my old dash the rings were also attatched.
