Thx to our aerospace hook up, we got some carbon stock that behaves similar to 6061 alum. AND can be threaded without inserts.
This opens to new opportunities to make light, strong parts as our alum bracket wts = 108 g. and the carbon bracket wts = 40g. (2.7X lighter and just as strong:smile
We did not do this to save weight but it was too tempting not to try.
For those of you already have the ABS Delete kit, If you want to change to the carbon bracket,
Price is $120 for the P-valve version(if you have Ti bolts already) or $150 if you don't.
$120 for the regular version(if you have Ti bolts already) or $150 if you don't.
