I have not noticed much of an improvement in bumpsteer. I have noticed a "crisper" feel in the steering. But I honestly attest that to the old OEM ones being in marginal shape to begin with.

I have not noticed any noise or clanking. I just took them off to inspect and they were very tight. On my car, I have a 255 tire on the front with a very low offset. I would think that puts a lot of punishment on them (more so than a non-widebody set-up)

I have not looked at the inner rod (yet). I am currently testing replacement ball joints in a configuration that has not been offered before. I just need to make sure they take all the punishment and lateral load.
