Caravan from Northeast to NSXPO

Any of you Northeast folks driving to Nevada for NSXPO, here is the route and days we will be traveling:

NYC metro area to Staunton,VA to Knoxville - Day 1 (Sat 10/23)
Knoxville to Memphis - Day 2
Memphis to Little Rock to Amarillo - Day 3
Amarillo to Albuquerque - Day 4
Albuquerque to Kingman,AZ to Las Vegas - Day 5 (Wed 10/27)

Details will follow once those interested in hooking up respond. We will be traveling south on I-81 and west on I-40.
 
Here is our tentative schedule for the entire I-81, I-40, and Rt.93 drive. All attendees driving part of this route, please PM me.

Sat 10/23

6:00 - NYC area
7:00 - Bridgewater, NJ (I-78)
9:30 - Harrisburg, PA (I-81)
1:00 - Staunton, VA (I-81)
3:00 - Christiansburg, VA (I-81)
5:00 - Colonial Heights, TN
7:30 - Knoxville, TN (I-40)

Sun 10/24

6:00 - Knoxville, TN
8:30 - Nashville, TN
12 noon - Memphis, TN
(No more driving that day due to party night in Memphis)

Mon 10/25

6:00 - Memphis, TN
8:30 - Little Rock, AR
11:00 - Fort Smith, AR
3:00 - Oklahoma City, OK

Tue 10/26

6:00 - Oklahoma City, OK
8:00 - Elk City, OK
10:30 - Amarillo, TX
1:00 - Tucumcari, NM
4:30 - Albuquerque, NM

Wed 10/27

6:00 - Albuquerque, NM
8:00 - Gallup, NM
12 noon - Flagstaff, AZ
3:00 - Kingman,AZ
6:00 or later? - Las Vegas, NV NSXPO 2010 !!!!!
 
thats going to be a good drive, make sure to take a lot of pics and protect car parts that can be hit by rocks, some ppl use masking tape but if applied improperly it can damage the car. my friend who had Porsche showed me this
http://www.buyroadwrap.com/road-wrap-features.php for you guys making that long of a trip it might be worth looking into. make to to apply protection to whole car as well (wax or sealant)

1:25 pm Pick up rental from Executive Emerald Club at national
1:30 pm enjoy leisurly lunch
4:00 pm depart las vegas in sweet comfy rental car
4:55 pm arrive at hoover dam
5:00 pm Take lots of pictures of the caravans of NSX's crossing the Dam.
6:00 pm Join the last caravan back to Vegas!

Sorry, I will not be able to join the caravan or make it to Vegas this year. Hate to miss this fun drive and NSXPO but finances simply won't allow. :frown:

If you are driving this route, please check with jukngene from Delaware as he was looking to meet caravan folks at the Staunton, VA time spot.

I'm not going to EXPO but,
I'm thinking of meeting up, just for an excuse to go for a ride.

I'm in Charlotte maybe I could meet up on I-81, or I-40 and take the ride to TN>
