I have a weird problem, whenever i turn the engine off and if I have left the radio and or the air/heater on the car won't start, even if it has been only a few seconds since I turned it off.

I jump the car and it starts right away.

If I turn everything off and then turn off the engine it starts every time.

I'm baffled by this any ideas?

I own a 1993 NSX

Thanks in advance

Really depends on what it does not do when you try and restart it.
-When you turn the key does anything happen?
-Do you hear the fuel pump pressurize?

3 things:

-Ignition switch
-Main Relay
-Battery terminal Loose or bad ground
(Not necessarily in that order)

Good Luck!

I had a problem with my 91 went through the main relay fuel relay and it ended up being the ignition switch. I think the radio and heat A/C is just a coincidence. But I'm not an expert good luck. I do have main relay and fuel relay that I could lend if you want to trouble shoot as I bought replacements and was not my problem. Your prob sounds like mine again good luck.

i will attempt to determine if anything happens when i try to start it again, at this time my reaction is nothing is happening at all...I will double check this response and post again tomorrow.

I recently had a similar issue. Car would not start even though battery was fully charged. I checked the terminals and they looked ok. On further inspection i noticed the pin on one of the terminal clamp hinges was half out so even though the clamp was closed there was not much force on the terminal and therefore no connection. I unid the clamp, fixed the pin and closed the clamp with a lot more pressure and all was fine.
