This morning when i started my car. I wasn't able to put the car in any gear. It was really weird. The clutch also has been at a very low engaging point too when it is cold. What could be wrong. Once the car started to warm up some more I can finally crunch in the gears. Also the engagement of the clutch also becomes more normal too after a drive, it will have a higher engagement point. This is kind of weird. Is it because of lack of Fluids (tranny/Clutch) or would it be about time for a new clutch or tranny?

Sounds like the clutch...this happened to me and I got stranded.

Did you ever feel it slipping? you should know if you can get it running..it will also smell, if your RPM goes up and the car isnt corresponding then your clutch is gone..

Hello Tobal,

This is Bob, I believe we have meet last week in the East bay drive.

Check your clutch fluid bottle, if it is empty, then your master or slave cyclinder is bad. If the bottle is full, your clutch is bad. A good mechanic will be able to fix it in a few hours. There is nothing to worry about, the worst case is a clutch replacement.

thanks guys, yea bob i remember you

yea i checked that day and i did check the clutch container. the small container was empty. Filled it up and things seems to run fine now and the clutch feels great again. I hope that won't mess up anything.

Tobal, it was empty for a reason.I did run a car with a leaking slave for a long time but you need to keep an eye on it or better have it checked out.it is a sign of master, slave going bad (leaking)
