Car Wash Clutch Lube?

Odd, that my clutch becomes easier to engage after going through a high pressure car wash. It lasts for several shifts, and then becomes stiffer (normal for my car). I think the easier to engage pressure is correct, and can't figure out what to lube to make it like that all the time? I can't see how the water can get to the slave, which was my first guess? Anyone guess where the water is getting into to make the clutch easier to engage?

If I had to guess, I would say that the rubber boot which keeps moisture and dirt out of the bell housing (or not) and slavepin area is dislodged. I see this often on cars that have had the clutch replaced by someone who forgot to reinstall it after re-installing the slave. This could also be the result of an incomplete slave replacement repair.
Water is a lubricant, so getting it on the slavepin might be causing your scenario. Also possible- the most common reason for a heavy clutch pedal is the wrong grease used on the t/o bearing area that slides on the tranny nosepiece. If this is the case, water or even just moisture will settle on the surface of the grease and make it slippier, untill it evaporates.
The slave pin can be lubed, but with little gain. The t/o bearing, unfortunately, cannot, without pulling the tranny.

I flushed the clutch fluid and it felt better also.

Well, for what it's worth, I recently replaced the master and slave cyl's (with the help of my buddy Tom Bolen), so the fluid is fresh, and I'm pretty sure we got the rubber cover on correctly, which I rechecked this past weekend--it was a hugh PITA to get that rubber cover back in place. It does seem like this scenario started after the master/slave replacement. It's not a big deal, just odd, and I'd like the cluth to feel more like it does after the car wash all the time.............
