guys...
anyone have a referal for car transport w/ decent pricing from Georgia to orange county, CA that you like to do business again? Please share....i need to get it setup...

I used DAS auto shippers. very reasonably priced. go with closed transport and use their insurance. I've had 2 cars shipped through them, one didn't have any problems, but the second one showed up with minor damage. But damages can realistically happen with any carrier. They were easy to work with and fair. I got my NSX from FL to OR in 4 days.

call 1-800-826-1083 and ask for Joel ext. 668

tell him that Allen with the NSX from Portland referred you and see what type of price quote you get.

I paid $1100 closed transport from FL to OR, but without the insurance (I believe that it was another $250).

Used DAS as well. Vancouver, WA to Kansas City enclosed. 6 days if I remamber, cost $1100, ask for a top load so you don't have to worry about a car above taking a leak on yours. They also have a GPS tracking system so you can see where the car is at. Good luck.

I also would go with DAS. During my search for a nsx I found one in Illinois and called DAS about shipping to LA. For enclosed Terminal to Terminal Transportation it was $890 using my insurance, as opposed to door to door which was $1100. I ended up buying a car 60 miles from my house so I didn't need transport but if I did I would go with DAS.

NEVER go with a company called A-48 State Auto Transport (located in Florida). I have made it my personal mission to ruin this company (litigation still pending). Spread the word!!!

Hey, I'm unemployed & need the money...I can drive it for ya! I'm sure we could come up with something less than $1100!

(And, yes, I own my own NSX, so you'd know it'd be in good hands....)

I wonder if there's a small biz in this....other exotic car owners driving exotics around. I wouldn't trust mine to someone who doesn't have it out of their system.....
