Hello all,
Tried to drive this afternoon. Car started, then stalled. Was able to restart after a few tries, warmed up for a few minutes and as I was backing out the driveway it stalls. It will crank but not start so I had to call neighbors for help and push her back in the garage.

I have read the possible problems. Not the ignition since dash lights stayed on after stalling and do not flicker if I wiggle keys on ignition. My question is how do I know if it is the main relay switch or the fuel pump that causes this problem? Any help would be appreciated so I can order the part that is needed.

Fixed. Main relay switch was the culprit. In 2000, main relay is beside ECU pillar B side. Have to remove passenger garnish and lift door gasket to remove big plastic cover under B pillar (3 phillips screws). Main relay faces backwards. Have to remove 1 10 mm screw that holds connector bracket out of the way. Connectors to relay switch behind this group of connectors. Once out of the way, disconnect connectors to main relay and remove one 10mm bolt to take out old unit.

Fired her up and she came to life like nothing happened. Thanks prime!

Glad to hear its fixed, thanks for the detail on the repair!
