hey guys,
a guy came up to me yesterday, commenting on my new purchase, while we were talking he mentioned that he had a 93,and had to sell it.but funny thing he said was that he loved his car but wife made him sell it ,but he still has the cover,as a little reminder of owning a great car.
he told me that it came in the trunk, with the car, nice little gift.
did my 98" come with one of these??

funny thing,he said he covers his civic with it ,lol (we both laughed)
i mentioned that i want to get one of the Car Capsules.

No NSXs sold in North America came from the factory with a car cover. You could order them as an accessory from any dealer, so it's possible that someone bought a new (or used) NSX from a dealer and negotiated the inclusion of the car cover by the dealer as part of the deal.

thanks nsxtasy! very interesting...
can you still get the cover from acura! is it worth it?

It should still be available; it's a well made cover, although it's intended for indoor use.

There are also outdoor covers available at dealerships in Japan. They have two versions: one is a thin blue outdoor material, and the other is a red goretex material.

The car cover for models prior to 02 is no longer available.
That's because the one for '02-05 fits the earlier years as well.

Other than the sometimes silkscreening of a logo on OEM car covers, aftermarket car covers are just as high in quality (and usually lower in price) as OEM ones. Also, aftermarket car covers are available in a variety of fabrics, depending on your needs. Check them out at:
