Car Buying Services? AAA? Non-NSX

Anyone have any comments good or bad on the type of buying services offered by things like AAA? Does it really take any of the hassle out of negotiating for the best price?

I've used a buying service through my credit union called United Buying Service and was very happy with the results. You get rock bottom prices and the only negotiating that is done is stuff like aftermarket alarms, extended warranty etc.

There are limitations though, UBS is local, only certain dealerships participate, and dealers do not honor UBS price on vehicles with very high demand.
