Twice within the last month while sitting at a light the engine acts like it is going to stall, I put it in neutral and rev it a few times and it runs fine, almost like it needs to clear it's throat. my thoughts are to clean the throttle body,
Plugs have less than 5,000 miles. Always Chevron premium gas.
Any other thoughts as to what may be the culprit

Idle control valve?

The last time this happened to me, wasn't in an NSX per se, but ended up being something I really didn't expect... the battery! It had dead cells and was just enough of a drain on the alternator at low RPM to stall me. If nothing else, it's going to be the #1 easiest thing to check.

+1 on the above posts. those are the common things,

but it wouldnt hurt to clean the throttlebody with some trusty carb and choke cleaner

last take the plugs out and see if they are gummed up if they are not atleast clean them.

also could be the 02 sensors

Yeah...I had the same problem last year. My sister's Honda CR-V also had the same problem..engine dies or almost die at idle. So I adjusted the throttle wire that control the valve opening and clean the throttle body with choke cleaner.....Never have the same proble since..on both cars:)

Recomend replacing fuel filter and while your there pour in some injector cleaner. Check the fuel pressure at idle, should be 42lbs.
