Just finished putting on the catrell ais, Pretty easy, Hardest thing was getting it to fit the rubber boot. Broke a lot of wheel well plastic plugs, where is the best place to get some. Also do you have to clean the filter more often, I bought the uni filter, Almost 400.00 dollors for everthing, But it fits perfect. Thanks Danny!

Did your car have the original fasteners that you just PUSH IN the center pin to release them? I saw some of the original fasteners on e-Bay the other day. Here is the auction link, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0348673734&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&viewitem=

It all depends on the kind of air that you feed your car. If you drive it out 4 wheeling in the dirt and mud you will probably have to clean it more often. Normal street driving should be fine for maybe a year. Maybe check it once a month and see what you think.

I hope you really enjoy the intake sound, I know that I do.

Cowl fastener clip on ebay (991505-SL0-003) is not a wheel well liner clip (the original part 91545-SE0-003). Consider the ones I'm selling here.

I would just re-oil it every 6 mos and clean once a year.

How do you like the sound with the AIS?

Sounds great when you get the rpms up, Almost like a supercharger sound with a pronounced growl. Went and bought some fender well clips at honda, 26.00 for five pretty darn expensive But didn't want to wait for shipping.

The foam filters will break down over time. Get the K & N OEM filter replacement for the best long term quality filter. They're around $60 U.S. but well worth the money.
autobodyclips.com has the OEM clips for a great price if you buy them in lots of 10 or 25.

Cheers
