Canon 20D Firmware Update

Canon's just released firmware update 2.0.2 for the 20D. This fixes a problem with EOS Capture when the camera's set to RAW + JPEG (which occurs only with firmware 2.0.0) and includes all fixes released to date.

By the way how many of you are waiting to see what the new Canon DSLR will offer ? The rumored 5D

there seems to be a lot fo rumers spreading on these days

have you heard of a Nikon D200? some say it's just haox and others say it's true

but anyway, it's about time they moved on from the 8 megapixel trend. They've been stuck on that for so long

If the 5D rumors are true, especially if there's no crop factor, I'd be tempted. Still awaiting some real news.

I saw the news yesterday. I'm still tempted, but have no plans to spend $3299!

add to that the cost of the external flash, because the 5D does not have a built in flash

I guess this thing is really for people who intend to make business out of the camera, not for consumers who would buy it just for hte fun of it.

I wonder when Nikon will start switching to CMOS sensors. I love the fact the Canon are building thier own sensors like this 12.6 CMOS. Nikon on the other hand are using a sensor from Sony.

If you already have external flash and lenses (like me), then all you need is a body. Of course, I still don't feel like spending $3299 on the 5D. I've been waiting for a full-frame sensor to make it into their consumer lineup, but the 5D clearly targets the same pro market that the 1D fills...albeit for half the price of the 1D.

not sure where this Canon ranks, or the one i'm thinking of is,

I'm still VERY new to photography,

but my roomie just got his Nikon D2X, I love it lol
