Canadian NSX sales

I've been trying to get the sales data on NSX's sold in Canada but Honda Canada won't release them ( to me anyway)

BC allows collector plates on vehicles that have had sales of 1500 per year globally and are 15 years old or more.

I know the NSX global sales have exceeded that in the early years but
if I can make a case for a low average over the 15 year life span of the car I may be successful.

If I could get the Canadian sales I would go with that, cause I think it would be under 50 per year on average.

Has anyone got a source of info that would help?

The FAQ only goes to 1998 as I recall and US only data won't help for the BC govt. plate application form
I need global or Canadian only and preferably for the 15 year run

Does Ontario have a collector plate program?

You are the man!
I found exactly what I was looking for on the Honda website

Thank you

Honda sold more NSX in Canada than I would have guessed. I wonder where they are all hiding, maybe when the dollar went south so did the cars. Time to bring them back.
The numbers work out for sales per year as I have #366 which was one of the last NSX made for Canada in 91.
Please let us know if the collector insurance worked out for you as then I can afford to move to BC.

The BC Collector car registration guide that allows 15 year old vehicles to be included is stated that world wide production for the model year must be less than 1500 units. If above that then the vehicle is not eligible until it is 24 years old The NSX for 91 far exceeds this production. I would be very surprised if they change the requirements to let the NSX in. I think we will have to wait until the vehicle is 24 years old when there is no quota or buy a slightly newer unit and only wait a couple of years
