I did it. I bought a 2002 NSX with 15,000 miles on it. Bringing her back to Canada. Canada will never be the same. LOL !!!

I have been looking forward to attending NSXPO in October, now I will be able to attend with my own car. I fly back down to New Jersey to pick it up end of next week. I can't wait. The NSX is such an amazing car.

See you all down in Ohio in October.

I can understand the 2 buckets to clean the car, but I think the shovel (leaning up against the tree) is a bit harsh. Check out the "NSX Detailing" group. I'm sure there are plenty of options there.
Man! and I was paranoid to get into the clay baring! What have things come to.

did you have trouble getting the letter from acura saying there was no recall that needed to be made? I heard they are impossible to deal with, they don't want to give that letter because they don't want to encourage the "grey market" and the cars switching country blablabla...

did you have trouble getting it?

Ian! Congrats buddy! Now you have to bring it to dinner next week!

You can provide a letter from an Acura Dealer that says the car bearing the VIN #### is clear of recalls, it will be accepted. But it seems easy to get Honda to do NSXs, they are out of production after all.

Love it!!!!! :)

Very nice. Too bad its gorgeous lines are spoiled by that ugly license plate !!

Really glad it's not required here in NS.

Mine never came with a plate on the bumper. It was a Canadian showcar from what I was told, so there was no need for them to drill the hole in the first place. But as a thought, you can get a harness underneathe to hold the plates, or what I did was just use to " L " shape bars ($1.50/pair)and found the proper screws ($0.60) (this is a rare size and had a biatch of a time finding it), attached it from under the top side and voila!..Altho it shakes a little, do to the L bars cannot be thick due to it's length/hole size ratio.
If in Canada, don't screw the plate on flat then bend it down, 'cuz the odd cop that doesn't like your shirt will give you an inspection ticket, which I only know from back then was $80(and a trip back to the police station to have it checked out)

i have sort of the same thing, since mine didnt come with a front plate either
it is a Canadian car.. but the guy who owned it before never used a front plate
so mine is attached inside the opening of the front bumper sort of on the inside

For those that have a front bumper plate installed now, but want to go with the underneathe bumper way, u can plug up those bumper holes with the flat panel inserts. I didn't have time to find it, but someone on Prime here sells those. It also comes with different colours to match your bumper.
