Can you change the dash bulb and speedometer dial

Dose anyone know if you can change the 1.4w bulb to the 3.0w bulb. I don't know much about electronics but basically I'm trying to increase the brightness of my dash because I can't see the trip meter. Also is it possible to change the imperial speedometer to a metric one. I just bought a car from the states but am use to km/h and would like to change it. Thanks in advance everyone.

I would not increase the wattage of the bulbs...the traces are very thin and the cluster is a very fragile and expensive part.

I recommend getting some high intensity LEDS for this application. But then again, you want a dim cluster to preserve your night vision.

Yes, you can absolutely put in a km/h speedo, I've done it myself as part of my Acura to Honda conversion. It works great.

It is a straight forward swap, but you have to be very patient and gentle with the whole transplant operation.
