my light has been on for awhile now.
1. changed fuse out=srs remains on
2. horn and cruise control still work with/out problems
from my reading i understand i still need to blow out the little hose under the car. any other recommendations?

thanks guys.

worse case, can the srs be rebuilt?

Was the fuse blown? Check it again now .. if it's blown again, you've still got a problem. Unfortunately, the next step in the service manual is to pull the main connector on the SRS unit (which is approx under the shifter) and test for voltages/resistance .. then follow the flowcharts. This is a bitch to get at and impossible to test without the dealer extension cable .. so best to pay them to do it unless they'll loan you the cable.

In my case, the flowcharts pointed to a wiring problem which I believe is more of a connector corrosion issue due to water running down from the a/c condensor (due to plugged drain). The first time this happened, it just dried up and the light eventually went off .. but the second time, it came on faster and hasn't gone off. I'm planning to reseat all the connectors and hope for the best.
