I plan to do my own oil changes (97 NSX, standard ride height). I have a typical Sams Club type floor jack. Damned sturdy - I used with my Ford F250.

Can I use it on the NSX? The owners manual implies I should only use the NSX jack. Where do I place the jack on the NSX?

Also - where should I place jackstands on the NSX once it's up?

Yes, you can use a regular hydraulic floor jack. There's a chance that it won't fit under your car unless it's a low-profile jack, or if you drive up on a couple of 2 by 4s.

There are three jacking points on each side of the car. Your owner's manual should point them out to you. Using the middle one will lift both the front and rear at the same time. I put my jack stands under the front and rear jack points.
