I saw on Honda's website there's a trunk opener kit for 98+ Honda Accord.
Basically, it's a replacement trunk latch w/ an actuator. It replaces the original manual trunk latch and has a wire connector to hook up to the car's keyless/security wire harness, which is already inside the trunk lid.
I wonder if my 97 Accord LX can use this trunk opener directly to replace my manual one. My car has no factory alarm/keyless, so I do worry if my car has the ready-made wire harness to hook up directly to the latch connector or not. And besides, if it is straight forward, where is the trunk opener wire (+ trigger or - trigger)?
Thanks
