cam plug oil leaks

My dealer just advised me of oil leaks starting at the cam plugs, and quoted $1000 to fix 'em. yuck.

Anyone with experience and/or comments or suggestions regarding this?

...that may include valve adjustment too maybe? Worth it while you are there.

For those who are looking at this topic......

- The dealer has now come down to $800 (recently adjusted valves, but mebbe they need to be done again with this work).

- Others have told me "normal leak...just use sealant on the outside for a while to defer the work."

- Others have told me "get bids...that $too much".

I'll be at NSXPO this next week and will ask wizards what they think.

thew cam plug job is a big job i hope there adj the valve to and i whould look in to str cam plugs. give them a try because the stock cam plugs are just going to leak again.

STR is a brand of aftermarket parts they say they wont leak again.worth the try because like i said the stock ones are just going to leak
