Caliper Help

I decided to paint my calipers and got a case of the "might-as-wells". I am re-building my calipers, and have hit a snag. How do you get the pistons through the boots after the boots are installed? The manual tells you what to do, and not how to do it. The new boots are so tight that the pistons won't go through them. Is there a trick I'm missing. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use pressurize air to pump it from the banjo line. Or carefully use small blunt object like center punch to pry the rubber boot in. I used both methods before and found the center punch trick do the job faster.

Center punch trick?

I'm not clear on what you mean. How do you use the punch? Do you put the boot on the piston, and then try to seat it in the caliper?
