I have been dreading the day I would get a renewal from DMV requiring a Smog Certificate for my 2017 NC1. Finally after many years I got the request in the mail. I took the car in to a smog shop (my registration did not require a Star Smog Shop). It was pretty fast. No tail pipe testing. The tech did look at the engine to see if he could spot any mods. The only mod I have are the SOS Downpipes which have been on the car going back to 2019. The car now has 14,025 miles. The tech said all they do is download the info stored in the ECU. So if your car has had a code for emissions then you might be in jeopardy unless you clear all the codes. I passed. My normal log in as drmanny3 has been plagued with problems. I need to get Honcho to release the hold.
