California - average cost to paint WingsWest kit?

Hi all from California -

Just looking to find out what you paid to have your Wings West Kit (Front air dam, Side skirts and spats) painted. (Just to have the kit painted, not installed).

I called a couple of places and the cost was MUCH more than the kit itself. I have never had any paint work done on any car so I have no idea what the cost of just painting 5 parts such as the Wings West kit. So, if you've had a Wings West kit painted in the last year or so, I'd like to get an idea (ball park) of what you paid if you don't mind posting it here.

Body shops in my area hate painting body kits because they always receive complaints from customers stating the paint doesn't match.

My shop quoted me on a similar kit about $800 to do it! I sold it instead.

I paid $1600 to paint and to install the kit, and to paint the top to match.
