Calgary NSX meet Nov. 17th

Hey Everyone, we're having a meet in Calgary on the 18th. Let me know if you can make it out, we've got four guys so far, and I still haven't heard from everyone. Two guys are out of town, hopefully they can make it next time.

Maybe some of the guys that aren't from Calgary can make it down as well. I'm driving from Olds, so if anyone from the North wants to meet up to drive down I'm up for that.

Okay, I think we're going to change the date to Sunday Nov. 18th, it looks like it's going to be raining on Saturday and that'll kill attendance.

The meet will be at the Chestermere landing pub at 11:00 AM, this is where we had our last meeting and the parking lot was huge and the food was good. We also got some nice pictures with the lake background, but this will not be quite as important this time.
 
There is a good chance I will be in Calgary on Saturday doing some Christmas shopping. If you guys decide to meet on Saturday I'll try to attend.

damn - weather looks great today too! hope you guys have a great meet. Take lots of pictures for me. I'll be working with my son to get the spelling of Louis Vuitton correct so he can finish sewing all those handbags for me to get out to market :biggrin:

Well it was another great meet, thanks to everyone who showed up and thanks to those who let me know before hand that they wouldn't be able to make it. Will, we are planning another one for December, I'm guessing then the weather won't be as great though, haha.

We had 4 NSX's (Soloracer, Damnthebeaver, MaximumYield, and I), 2 S2000's (only one came in to talk though), and one Viper SRT-10.

I'm glad we chose Sunday since they had a great buffet, next time will definately have to be a Sunday.
 
Hey guys...it was great seeing everyone again...though I ended up in the bar at first:rolleyes: lol...the buffet was great as was the company...hope to see everyone in December...would love to come out to Olds...but the stories of the evil RCMPs have me scared:eek:

Sounds good, give me a headsup to the date, I'm off to Vegas and the west coast for 2 weeks leaving Dec 2 and returning Dec 16th.
 
Here is few pics some would like to see after I left the meet on Sunday, Greg had left so we were 1 NSX short in the photos.
It was getting windy and I had no Jacket, so It was brief.
I did some pretty cool runs after the meet, outside the city at my friends acreage, it was getting dark but I got a few pulls in,
here is 1 for now to check out turbo power @ 10psi.
The tires and the ground was cold so traction was not the best as u can hear the tires spinning in 2nd gear, was only 2 degrees@ 5:45pm.

Glad to see everybody again, and hope we get a better show next time for some Christmas drinks to celebrate the year end with many new NSX owners this year in Calgary.

Hope you guys had fun and sorry I missed it. I'm still out of town, is everyone still driving in Cowtown? What happened to the snow? Did you stay out of trouble this time Brent? :smile:
 
Thanks Cody, also it was nice to meet your friend Mitch in the viper and Brian was it in the 2000? sorry I forgot. Hopefully thay will hang with us next year for some events.

A little snow now, but nothing yet, still reasonably nice for the time of year.

Funny story I just talked to my friend who works in the area and knows the bylaw guy that popped in, he said to the guy(so I hear u had a run in with my bud, and told him the car and day, the guy said ohhh yea, I remember, he told my friend that car took off so fast he was suprised and did want to see what it was) anyhow it helps when u know people.

I was thinking of you while I posted waiting for another phonecall from you hehe, :smile:

Remember u have you life back hehe, or do u miss the countless hours, or the PIPE hehe.
My PC crashed hard for 3 days and I was not able to get much done.
I was wondering when u were needing a FIX soon hehe.
I did my part on this end to make this happen too.I have spent many hours learning this car, But I need to see what you will piece together again soon.
Maybe it was a trick to get U a Faster car! A Xbox 360 and turbo/nitrous combo hehe.

Ahh thats what I want to hear, I was not trying to get you going u did it yourself lol.Being nosy in our AB threads haha.

Many sell their NSX and regret it, but U will get another one and it will end up even nicer, like most others, some I read are on 3rd but its their best.

Also if u ever need any help on the new one, I will be there Stacy.6 months ago u were not getting a NSX and now u are going crazy, I cant believe it.

After installing a new clutch and turbo system ,I really understand the NSX alot more, Especially modded ones, but still got so much to learn.
Thanks to countless hours myself on prime and a few members I was able to do all this.

Also I was considering NSXPO 2008 in Portland Oregon, and taking U with me, but hopeing now u will be behind me in a new NSX.(and not in front hahaha):confused:

I was going to add another video, but will wait untill I think U need another Fix lol.

Well I always have frequented Prime,however I have rationed myself,LOL !!
Like they say "Too much of anything IS a bad thing"
However,they also say"Absence makes the heart grow stronger "
and mine is ready for another!!

Yes please do not post another vid until I start JONESIN' again !
I will let you know when I need a fix
